the Kolner Dom… it was started in about 1250 and finished in 1880 and was the tallest building in the world for a few years…

famed as one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world… it was partly the reason why i flew to Frankfurt and not Koln, the Mainz-Koblenz line along the Rhein is amazing… to get there, you take the Altona line…

the view up from the ground… lots of very tall, very straight trees… i see the light… head towards the light…

tree roots are cool… and form really useful stairs on the hills…

and this is the walkway… it swings a lot…
